He found them, decades after the moments they came from: old snapshots of himself, a child standing naked in a bathtub. At first he ignored them, but over time a certain gravity pulled him in. Poring over these small prints for months, he realized: "I could use these pictures of a boy in a bath. I thought I could transform them into something that used a boy’s pale thin body—my body—as a voice for eruptions , intemperance, violent shadows." These are the images that became Everything Will Be Forgotten, completed 2014-2015.
